Creator's MBA Newsletter — The Event Edition: Featured Placement Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a Featured Listing or Featured Event in The Event Edition, you agree to the following terms.

1. Placement Overview

The Event Edition is the Saturday edition of the Creator's MBA newsletter, read by creator-entrepreneurs, course creators, coaches, and digital product builders who use it to find events worth their time.

Featured placements introduce time-bound events to this audience. There are two placement types: the Featured Listing and the Featured Event.

Subscriber numbers, open rates, and engagement metrics shown on the sales page represent historical averages and are not guaranteed results.

2. Placement Types

Featured Listing. One tagged listing within The Lineup, the curated event list at the center of the issue.

Featured Event. One dedicated callout box placed near the top of the issue.

Placements appear in the Saturday edition only. The Publisher determines the final position within the newsletter. Inventory is capped at one Featured Event and up to two Featured Listings per issue.

3. What's Included

Featured Listing: event name, date, host, a short description, and one destination link, in the standard Lineup format.

Featured Event: a headline, two to three short paragraphs, one destination link, and one button, in the standard callout format.

All placements are distributed to the Event Edition subscriber list in the newsletter's standard layout.

4. Fee

The placement fee is stated at checkout:

  • Featured Listing: $37 per issue

  • Featured Event: $97 per issue

Payment is required at the time of purchase to reserve a slot. Multiple placements may be purchased during checkout if available.

5. Copy and Asset Submission

You submit your own copy, and it runs as submitted. The Publisher does not rewrite sponsor copy. The Publisher applies the newsletter's standard formatting but does not change your words.

You must submit the following through the Publisher's submission form:

  • Event name, date, and host, as you want them to appear

  • Destination link

  • Featured Listing: a description up to about 240 characters

  • Featured Event: a headline up to about 60 characters, body copy up to about 400 characters, and button text up to about 24 characters

Because the Publisher does not edit copy, submissions that exceed the character limits may be returned to you for trimming or declined. Assets must be submitted at least 3 business days before the scheduled issue. If assets are not submitted within 30 days of purchase, the Publisher may cancel the placement without refund.

6. Scheduling

After purchase, you will receive instructions to submit your copy and select an available date. Placement dates are subject to availability.

The Publisher may adjust scheduling due to editorial calendar changes, holidays, technical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. If a scheduling change occurs, you will be offered the next available date.

7. What Qualifies

Featured placements are for time-bound events only. Workshops, summits, webinars, challenges, retreats, cohort start dates, and live launches all qualify. Evergreen products and self-paced offers with no live date do not qualify.

The Publisher may decline any placement that includes misleading claims, deceptive marketing, adult content, discriminatory or harmful content, illegal products or services, or anything unrelated to the audience. The Publisher may also decline any event that is not time-bound.

8. Editorial Environment and Right to Decline

Placements appear within an editorial newsletter. The Publisher does not edit your copy, but reserves the right to:

  • set the position of your placement within the issue

  • apply the newsletter's standard formatting

  • decline any placement that does not meet the guidelines in Section 7

The Publisher will not alter the wording of your submitted copy.

9. Refund Policy

If the Publisher cannot place your event before its event date, you receive a full refund.

Otherwise, all sales are final once your placement is scheduled. Missed asset submission deadlines do not qualify for a refund. If a placement is declined before you submit assets, a refund may be issued at the Publisher's discretion.

10. License to Use Submitted Materials

By submitting your materials, you grant the Publisher permission to use your submitted copy and link solely for the purpose of creating and distributing your placement in the newsletter.

11. Limitation of Liability

Creator's MBA, Destini Copp LLC, and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to placements. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the placement.

12. Agreement

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
