When most people think about AI in business, they think automation. Yes, AI can help you write emails faster or brainstorm content ideas, but that’s just scratching the surface. I want to help you think bigger. You can actually sell AI-enhanced products or build AI into your offers so that you can charge more and deliver even more value.
I’ve seen business owners across niches—from parenting coaches to knitting teachers—start using AI tools not only to streamline operations but to monetize their expertise in new, scalable ways.
3 Ways Entrepreneurs Are Monetizing AI Right Now
If you're wondering where to begin, here are three key ways business owners are already using AI to generate income:
Teaching AI in Your Niche – You don’t have to be an AI expert. Just show your audience how to use AI tools in your space. A productivity coach might host a workshop on planning your week with ChatGPT, while a content creator could include monthly AI trainings in a membership.
Selling AI-Powered Assets – Think templates, planners, and checklists that are either AI-generated or AI-enhanced. These make fantastic digital products and can be sold via your website or platforms like Etsy.
Embedding AI Into Your Offers – This is my favorite. Add AI tools as part of your delivery—like a custom GPT that helps your clients write sales emails or an AI assistant that drafts social content for your membership.
5 Ways to Start Making Money with AI in Your Business
Now let’s break it down into five specific tactics you can start using today to weave AI into your existing offers:
Create a Custom GPT or Chatbot – No code needed! Just train ChatGPT with your frameworks, FAQs, and brand tone. Your clients get 24/7 support, and you can offer this as a bonus or a paid feature.
Bundle AI Tools into Your Offers – Create a bonus library or add-on with tutorials and templates showing how to use AI in your niche. This boosts your offer’s perceived value instantly.
Offer “Done With You” AI Sessions – Host workshops or 1:1 sessions where you guide clients through building AI-generated lead magnets, sales pages, or content strategies. I do this inside my memberships, and it’s always a hit.
Build AI-Enhanced Digital Products – Instead of selling static PDFs, upgrade to AI-assisted workbooks or planners that generate custom content. I use this strategy often in Hobby School, and it’s incredibly effective.
License Your AI Prompts or Workflows – If you’ve built strong AI prompts, consider selling them as a subscription or toolkit. Niche markets like “marketing prompts for therapists” are perfect for this.
You Don’t Have to Pivot—Just Enhance What You Already Do

Hi there, Destini here, and welcome back to the Creators MBA podcast. And today we're not just talking about using AI to save time in your business. I'm gonna be talking about how you can use AI to actually make money no matter what niche you are in. So whether you are a course [00:01:00] creator, maybe you have a membership.
Or you're a coach or a service provider. AI isn't just a tool that you can use behind the scenes in your business, which we know that that is a really great way to use it. It can also be part of your offer, and it can be part of what you sell. So in this episode, I want to show you five practical ways that you can integrate.
AI into your business in a way that directly leads to new income streams, higher value offers, and more irresistible digital products. So let's dive right in now. There are three key ways online business owners are already making money from ai, and I wanna break them down for you. The first is teaching or guiding others how to use ai.
And this [00:02:00] one is super simple. So if you already teach something, what I want you to do is consider layering in. AI as an example, a productivity coach might teach something like Plan your week with Chat GPT membership for content creators might include monthly AI trainings. That help people create their content faster, and you don't have to be an AI expert, you just need to show people in your niche how to use it.
The second way people are making money from AI is they are selling AI powered assets. So I want you to think like templates, journals. Checklist, pattern, generators, social
[00:03:00] media kits or planners that are AI generated or enhanced. So you can sell these like on your website or through, your membership or through any, system that you have,
the third way people are monetizing AI right now is embedding AI inside your offer. And this right here is my personal favorite. AI becomes part of your delivery. So maybe your coaching program includes a custom GPT that helps clients prepped for sales clause, or maybe your membership includes an AI assistant.
For crafting their content. So in this case, it becomes part of the experience and the transformation. So now I wanna talk about five ways you can add AI to your current offers and
[00:04:00] possibly even charge more for them. So let's talk about specifics here. The first is creating a custom GPT or chatbot for your clients or students.
So in this situation, you're gonna build a custom GBT inside of chat GBT. But no code is required to do it. So you're going to train it with your frameworks, your FAQs, and your tone of voice. So now your clients can get answers 24 by seven. So you can use it as a bonus or you can charge for access to it.
The next way is to bundle AI tools and trainings into your offers. So if you are like a service provider or a coach, you can create a bonus library, like how to use AI for, and then [00:05:00] whatever your specialty is. So this might include some templates, some tutorials, or some walkthroughs. This is a great way to do this because it increases that perceived value.
The third way is to offer done with you AI sessions or templates, and I would say that this is a really great upsell so you can hop on Zoom and create AI enhanced content together. As an example, you can walk a client through building an AI generated lead magnet or a sales page.
So something like that would be fast. It would be fun. It would be highly, highly valuable. Another way to kind of do this is like, for instance, in my memberships, and I'll give you a very specific example here, so last month in the part-time passion club. I had a workshop where I helped people build their irresistible
[00:06:00] lead magnet, and this is basically what we did.
We used ai, we created it together on that workshop. So they walked away with their AI generated lead magnet. We had the registration page set up. We had their welcome sequence set up. We had all of that done in the workshop, and we used AI to do that. The next way is to build AI enhanced digital products.
So instead of selling like a very plain planner or guide, you can sell an AI assisted version. So maybe that's a workbook that helps them brainstorm using AI prompts or a digital download that creates custom content for them. So we do this a lot of times in hobby school with some of the planners and journals that we sell, and in fact, I'm working on another membership for HobbyScool where this is exactly what we're going to be
[00:07:00] doing here.
The fifth way is you can license your AI content or your prompts. So if you have built really great prompts or workflows. Sell them. You can create a month's lease subscription or toolkit. And I would say that this is perfect for B2B or niche memberships. So for example, you could do like marketing prompts for therapists, sales prompts for creative.
So there's a lot of opportunities there. So let me go into some very specific examples just to kind of spark your idea here. One example might be a parroting coach sales, an AI meal planner that runs a family meals with AI workshop. A digital artist can create coloring books with midjourney and can sell them.
A business coach can add a
[00:08:00] custom GPT to their mastermind that helps their clients write sales emails. Perfect. A knitting teacher offers AI generated pattern builders to their students. These are ways that you can help your clients and students get faster results, and also make your offers feel more modern and valuable.
So here's what I want you to take away from this episode. You do not have to pivot your niche to make money from ai. You just need to have a look at what you're already doing and ask yourself, where could AI make this faster, easier, or more valuable? So start with one small experience. Build a bonus.
