Episode #115: The Ethical Evergreen Sales Funnel: How to Build an Automated Sales Funnel that Aligns with Your Values

Transcript:

Well, welcome back to our series on Evergreen sales funnels. And we are in episode 115 where I'm going to be talking about the ethical Evergreen sales funnel, how to build an automated sales funnel that aligns with your values. And if you've been wondering how to do this in an Evergreen sales funnel where you have people coming in at different times and you've been wondering, you know, how do I have a deadline?

In an Evergreen sales funnel, then, this is the episode for you. Now we know as we've gone through this series, the reason why live launches are so effective.

It's because they provide the leads with the deadline by which they have to buy the course or program, and it's easy to do that right in a live launch because that deadline is the same for everyone. The only thing you need to tell them is that your cart is closing on like a Sunday night at 11:59 PM Eastern Time, and that is the date and time that anyone can purchase during your launch. So after that, the launch is.

Over. You've closed your cart and they cannot sign up after that. Now in an Evergreen sales funnel, it's a little bit more difficult to offer a deadline since not everyone is going through that funnel at the same time. So you might have someone entering your sales funnel on January 1st, 5:00 PM, maybe another one on, you know, January 10th at 10:00 AM. So there's just, you know, a wide variety there in terms of when people are signing up for your.

Magnets and going through that funnel. So the question is how do you give both of your leads a deadline when they are going through your funnel so far apart. So the question is, is that possible to give them a deadline in an Evergreen sales funnel just like you would in a life launch? And the answer to that is yes, you can and you can do that authentically.

And ethically, even in an Evergreen sales funnel, so let's talk about how you can do that now. The key to creating deadlines within Evergreen sales funnels is to use a countdown timer, and I'm going to be going a little bit more detail on this tool later. So this is how you can keep your leads from accessing their limited time offers after that deadline.

Has passed, thereby creating an ethical and authentic deadline. Now, a couple of things I just want to mention here is depending on how you set it up.

You might still allow them to purchase, but maybe you're taking away a price discount. Maybe you're taking away that fast action bonus that you offered them so you can still allow them to purchase after the deadline. They're just not getting that special deal or that special offer that they would have gotten had they purchased prior to the deadline. So I just want to throw that out there.

It really just depends on how you set it up, but you can definitely do that. Now, I do have a podcast episode that goes in a little bit more detail about this with how to convert more leads into sales with authentic Evergreen marketing. And if you have our Spotify playlist, that will be in the playlist so you can grab it there or just search for that particular podcast episode, OK?

So let me talk a little bit more about the tool that you can use to establish a deadline in an Evergreen sales funnel. And this is basically how it allows you to do this authentically. And that tool that we use to do that is deadline funnel. And this is a software that works with your e-mail service provider and any you know in your core system, basically any sales funnel builder.

To track each lead going through your sales funnel. So it's going to track your leads and using the countdown timers in your emails and on your sales funnel pages. That will allow you to give every single one of your leads their own unique deadline to buy your course, your membership, your coaching program. So it really doesn't matter when they enter your funnel.

Every lead is going to have the same amount of time to decide if they want to purchase in that time frame or not. Now a lot of other funnel builders might have countdown timer widgets in there, but you know a lot of them might not be truly authentic. But deadline funnels and the reason why I like using them, it is a truly authentic deadline. So basically what this particular tool.

Does. It will lock them out of a page of your of your campaign when that deadline is expired. So let's just say they go through your funnel, they are past the deadline. They won't be able to go back and purchase that, but you can redirect them to another page where they still can purchase. It just won't have the discount in there. Or maybe the other bonuses or however you have set that up. So that is how.

You can set up a deadline in an Evergreen sales funnel that is truly, truly authentic and I highly recommend deadline funnels if that is something that you are interested in pursuing and setting up a truly authentic and ethical deadline in your Evergreen sales funnel. I will put the link for your free trial for deadline funnel below in the show notes so you can have it there if you have it.
